OpenPage Privacy Policy

Updated September 29, 2026

OpenPage is a local file reader and editor. It does not require an account, include advertising or analytics, or upload imported files to a server operated by the OpenPage developer.

Data we collect

The OpenPage developer does not collect, retain, sell, or share your personal data, device identifiers, usage history, or document contents through OpenPage.

Files on your device

When you import a file from Files or another app's share sheet, OpenPage stores its own local copy on your device. Edits in OpenPage apply only to that copy and do not overwrite the source file. You can export a copy at any time using the system share sheet or file picker.

Documents and external resources

OpenPage previews imported HTML using the document's own styling and permits its JavaScript to run. If HTML or Markdown contains external images, scripts, links, or other network resources, your device may connect directly to the websites that provide them. Those third-party websites may process network requests under their own privacy policies. Open only files you trust.

Sharing and third-party services

A selected file is provided to another app, service, or file location only when you choose to share or export it. The recipient handles that file under its own privacy policy.

Deletion and system backups

Files in Recently Deleted can be restored for 30 days or permanently deleted earlier. After 30 days, OpenPage removes those copies when the library starts or refreshes. Data contained in a device backup is managed by Apple and your chosen system backup settings.

Children's privacy

OpenPage does not create user accounts and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes to this policy

If OpenPage's features or data practices change, this page will be updated and the latest date will appear at the top.
